Nigerian’s Ambassador to the republic of Israel Chief Agatha Nonyelum Afoekelo, has commended Plateau State governor Barr Caleb Manasseh Mutfwang, for his remarkable sponsorship of pilgrims to the Holy Land in 2024/25.
Speaking during a resounding reception she hosted for the Plateau State pilgrims in Israel, Chief Afoekelo praised the Governor’s visionary leadership and commitment to the spiritual growth of his people.
She says his initiative reflects the selflessness and foresight of a leader who understands that true progress begins with the spirit.
The ambassador ensured the pilgrims were warmly welcomed and cared for, enriching their experience with an atmosphere of Nigerian cultural pride and unity. She further celebrated the Governor’s dedication to holistic development, stating, “Your Excellency, your investment in your people’s faith and future is a legacy that will endure.”

Senior Special assistant to the governor on Igbo Community affairs Felix Akpunku applauded her for the historic reception according plateau state Delegates described governor Mutfwang as the people’s governor whose dedication is geared towards developing the state.
He appreciated the ambassador who is if Igbo extraction of doing her best to make Nigerians proud in a nation like Israel.
