Member representing Langtang North Central Hon Daniel Nanbol lipstick has officially defected from the major Opposition Peoples Democratic party to the fast rising Labour party citing lack of internal democracy among others said his choice of labour party was borne out of his desire to move with the train that is moving the nation forward
According to him his performance as a current lawmaker in the plateau state House of assembly will speak for him as the driving force towards seeking re-election .
The Lawmaker accused some political godfathers who felt threatened with his performance as a Lawmaker as reasons why he was denied a fair hearing during the last people’s democratic party primaries were he withdraw haven seen their plans
Nanbol said he is a grassroot mobiliser and the large crowd that was witnessed today is as a result of his acceptability by this constituents who are where to throw thier support to him
Speaking at the event the state party chairman Esther Zamfara described the wind of defections across the state to labour party especially a sitting lawmaker is an indication that the party has gained wide acceptability in the state
She discribed the Lawmaker Nanbol lapsick as a people oriented and visionary lawmaker saying ‘the people’s democratic party has made a mistake in letting him go”
He called on the people of Langtang North Central to rally round the lawmaker to ensure he emerges victories during the polls.
The lawmaker had earlier commissioned a newly build and furnished primary school in his constituency an distributed uniforms to over one thousand students
Dignitaries present at the event who spoke include the national deputy chairman of the party,other aspirants and stakeholders who assured that the party will emerge victorious during the general elections
